Globoforce and ADP Announce New Strategic Alliance

Industry leaders team up to help companies better manage, engage, and measure the performance and cultural values of their workforce

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass., and ROSELAND, N.J., – October 23, 2014 – Globoforce® (www.globoforce.com), a leading provider of social recognition solutions, today announced a new strategic alliance with ADP® (NASDAQ: ADP), a leading global provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The multi-faceted relationship includes sales referrals, the new ADP Marketplace, and solution integration.

Under the terms of the new agreement, ADP will refer Globoforce’s solutions to ADP’s customers, comprised of companies across all industries. The sales referral arrangement extends the value of ADP’s talent and performance management solution set, with social recognition serving an increasingly strategic role within companies today.

In conjunction with the ADP Marketplace, ADP selected Globoforce as a new premier partner within ADP’s talent management ecosystem. The pre-configured integration available to joint customers of ADP and Globoforce brings ADP’s employee and organizational data into Globoforce’s leading recognition platform, providing greater insight into both individual and team performance as well as cultural values adoption. Joint customers of Globoforce and ADP will have an easier and more streamlined way to manage and recognize employees’ ongoing performance and productivity without the need for customized integration.

The shared vision of ADP and Globoforce includes a number of future enhancements for solution integration. These are designed to leverage the increased openness of ADP’s API structure for joint customers and provide a more complete picture of employee’s performance. The enhancements include:

  • Using recognition data to round out employees’ talent profiles and enhance all HCM processes, including performance reviews, succession planning, and years of service.
  • Expanding to bi-directional integration, enabling Globoforce recognition data to go into ADP’s payroll system, talent management, and tax and benefits administration solutions. This will help joint customers to more effectively manage tax compliance.
